Aunt Beatrice grabbed her straw hat and headed off the ship
for some sightseeing. But, not before she went to
the ship’s bar and ordered a Strawberry Gin Fizz.
You can’t expect Aunt Beatrice to walk around
the little town without a fun cocktail in hand.
No self respecting American would do that on the island. Besides, the
shop keepers love to sell their wares
and Aunt Beatrice had plenty of money to spent.
Down the gang plank Aunt Beatrice went holding her cocktail
and laughing all the way.
What she didn’t see was Michael Majors walking
behind her at a fair distance.
Aunt Beatrice made a point of shopping
and buying in every shop she could find.
She had all of her purchases sent back to the ship
while she sat on the beach and took in the scenery
still drinking her cocktail.

A Gin Fizz is a 19th century cocktail combining gin, sugar, lemon juice
and club soda all to make a refreshing and light cocktail.
In the early 20th century this cocktail became so popular that bars
would hire crews of people to shake the drinks.
It’s quite the workout making a single gin fizz,
imagine making 100 in a night!
CHEERS!!
