Hello Camilla…I found this article truly new, fun and amazing.
Camilla’s fetish with her white parasol.
Who knew? I must say, I didn’t.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
Camilla never leaves home without her white parasol.
Upon arriving at the Zanzibar International Airport, Camilla’s umbrella was immediately flipped open as she left the runway with Prince Charles.
Camilla stands with Brazilian models wearing clothes made from recycled rubbish at a Community Centre on March 14, 2009 in Manaus, Brazil. She wields her trusty parasol to shade her from the South American sun.
The Duchess brought out her lacy staple to grant her just a tad more shade for a visit to the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in July 2013. The subtle white pattern on her tan dress complemented her dainty umbrella perfectly.
Camilla’s classic staple is far from a modern fashion invention. Its history reaches back thousands of years before it became a must-have in Europe during the Italian Renaissance.
The Duchess took her parasol through clay terrain during a visit to
the Old Fort at Shali in Siwa.
For a trip to the Darwin Research Station in Galapagos, Ecuador, in March 2009, Camilla sported a navy ensemble with light colored lapels that seemed to purposely match her parasol. Here, with Prince Charles, they are shown meeting a tortoise.
The sun is no match for Camilla when she has her best accessory. The parasol made an appearance for an engagement in Trinidad and Tobago. She opted for classic pearl accessories and a light colored dress.
I rather like her parasol and find it to be a real cool fashion statement.
I would like to wish Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
The royal, turns 72 on Wednesday, July 17th.
