A Butterfly effect in Finland

DiNpkTMWAAAiT0Y

U.S. First Lady Melania Trump and Finland First Lady Jenni Haukio coordinated in their butterfly ensembles for breakfast in Helsinki. Melania wore a butterfly buckle on her yellow Gucci coat, while Jenni opted for a printed butterfly dress.

Do you think they coordinated their outfits?

I do see that YELLOW was the color for this European trip.

Fashion Notes: @FLOTUS First Lady Melania Trump wears an A-line pale yellow Gucci coat, adorned by a butterfly buckle for @POTUS meeting in Helsinki, Finland. The ladylike coat is paired with dyed-to-match Manolo Blahnik stilettos.

I give Melania a 10+ on this yellow Gucci outfit…it’s perfect for Finland.

Melania arrives in Finland

Melania_Trump_Helsinki-1-768x544
Melania Trump shined Sunday in a gorgeous powder blue coat as she and President Donald Trump touched down at Helsinki-Vantaa airport in Finland.

She completed the great outfit with loose hair, sunglasses and matching brown flats as she and Trump headed to their hotel ahead of the president’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Note her Birkin bag, again.

Beautiful outfit.

I guessed it to be navy blue in my last blog…I’m close enough

to call it…it’s BLUE.

This time, Melania is wearing FLATS…yes, that’s right, flat shoes.

Ice blue wool coat by American designer Kate Brierley for her brand Isoude.

The driving coat features luggage leather details, welt pockets,

and 100 percent silk lining,

retailing for nearly $4,000.

First Lady paired the fierce-yet-girly coat with a classic white men’s button down, Ralph Lauren brown leather leggings, turtle shell sunglasses, and a pair of brown Christian Louboutin pointed flats. The leggings retail for $998.

Isoude designer Kate Brierley — who crafts her garments in Fall River, Massachusetts and Newport, Rhode Island — celebrated Mrs. Trump wearing her impeccably designed coat on Instagram.
“Love our coat on her,” the brand wrote on a post of Mrs. Trump in the coat.

Who is the fairest of them all?

Melania Trump, of course.

Melania dazzled them in a sophisticated dress from J.Mendel

After a whirlwind trip to the much anticipated NATO summit in Brussels, Melania and the president were welcomed to a glamorous gala at Blenheim Palace by PM Theresa May and her husband.
We anticipated FLOTUS in an English designer for the night, but in typical Melania fashion, she isn’t one to follow the pack but rather create her own path in terms of fashion. She opted for one of her go-to designers, J. Mendel.
J. Mendel is known for the ultimate luxury when it comes to evening-wear.

Bravo, Melania, you stunned them again.

On the runway, J.Mendel’s dress was green and retails for $6990. I’ll admit, I like the color buttercup yellow better than the runway dress. They said “green” but it looks aqua blue to me. You decide which color you like the best.

Next up…what will Melania wear in Helsinki? Some have predicted a RED dress/

outfit. I’m hoping for a Navy blue outfit. Do you want to take a guess.

Melania’s Fashion Moves

collage4

First Lady Melania Trump went posh and proper for her final day in London, England as she and President Trump jet-set to Scotland for a quick weekend getaway on their European tour.
Mrs. Trump pulled off three wardrobe changes on her final day in England, starting with a posh navy, maroon, tan, and orange flare dress by Victoria Beckham, the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer. The dress was paired with Mrs. Trump’s patent leather nude Christian Louboutin stilettos, the shoe that she has repeatedly worn through this international trip.

The color-blocked dress was instantly recognizable as a VB staple, as Victoria has worn a similar rendition of the fit and flare design. Much like Mrs. Trump, Victoria has made a name for herself on the world stage with her sophisticated presence and refined fashion choices.

Oh, yes, Melania’s husband came ago, too. Our President, Donald J. Trump, poses with

the Queen of England, Elizabeth II.

Mrs. Trump changed into a proper look for a visit to Queen Elizabeth II.
Mrs. Trump wore a classic eggshell-toned Christian Dior suit that harked back to the brand’s famous “bar suit” that the Slovenian-born former model paid tribute to last year while visiting Paris, France. On this occasion, like her 2017 trip to Paris, Mrs. Trump swept her hair back in an elegant updo.

To define her waist, Mrs. Trump paired the suit with a thin black belt and wore the same Christian Louboutin nude stilettos that she wore earlier in the day with her Victoria Beckham dress.

For her arrival in Scotland, Mrs. Trump looked countryside chic in a

Ralph Lauren-esque ensemble that features a dark green quilted jacket by Burberry — naturally because she’s headed to Scotland — with beige cigarette pants and brown snakeskin stilettos.
Mrs. Trump’s Burberry jacket retails for $595 at Neiman Marcus.

Always one for luxury accessories, Mrs. Trump elevated the casual look with a beautiful brown “Birkin bag” and a yellow scarf by the French brand Hermès and turtle shell sunglasses.
Mrs. Trump has numerous Birkin bags and famously wore one when she moved into the White House last year. Typically, a Birkin bag retails for tens of thousands of dollars.

Melania is wearing one of my favorites, a Hermes scarf. Several years ago, I bought a Hermes scarf on one of my trips to Europe; I still have it, too.

I’m loving those snakeskin stilettos.

Can you buy a Porsche for $23.?

n1o2V2lt

YES, but it comes in a bottle….

At the beginning of June, Porsche fans around the world celebrated the brand’s inaugural Sportscar Together Day to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Porsche sports car. If you thought the festivities were finished you’re quite mistaken, because Porsche announced that it has created its own brew of wine to continue celebrating its birthday.
To create the Cuvée 356, named so for the company’s first sports car, Porsche went to esteemed winemaker Tement, located in southern Styria, Austria. Tement was an appropriate choice for the company for two reasons: the first Porsche 356s were manufactured in Gmünd, Austria 155 miles away from Tement’s headquarters, and Porsche brand ambassador and beloved rally driver Walter Röhrl is a fan of the winery’s products, particularly the sauvignon blanc of which Tement is most known.
“I was always convinced that it’s not a question of the best varietal, but that it all depends on the wine region,” said Manfred Tement, founder and manager of Weingut Tement. “A sauvignon achieves perfection here in southern Styria.”

Röhrl and wine distributor Alexander Baron von Essen visited Tement last December to sample bases for Cuvée 356 and help Manfred’s son Armin Tement create the perfect blend. The result is a concoction made of 65 percent pinot blanc, 18 percent chardonnay, 12 percent sauvignon blanc, and 5 percent pinot gris.
“The properties of this wine have clearly been chosen to create a very light white wine in terms of the alcohol content, and one that is very drinkable, sophisticated, and elegant with a slightly nutty floral aroma,” explained Christophorus restaurant manager Holger Schamm. “But it also has excellent length and actually conveys a certain..’minerality’.”
Cuvée 356 will only be available for purchase at the Christophorus restaurant and Porsche Museum shop in Stuttgart, Germany. However, some customers who reside in Germany can also buy their own case for $23 a bottle.

I  say CHEERS to that bottle of wine…enjoy. Too bad that I live in California because I probably will not be seeing or tasting this wine in the near FUTURE.
