An invitation to have DINNER WITH THE CAPTAIN.
Aunt Beatrice had just jumped out of the shower when she saw an
envelope that was slid under her cabin door. Anxious to open the
envelope, she found a personal invitation to sit at the
Captain’s table tonight for dinner.
She was impressed but quickly thought of the telephone call
and the warning. BEWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS.
Aunt Beatrice had noticed the Captain the night before
when she was having cocktails at the bar. He eyed her and smiled.
She wondered what he was up to…Seduction crossed her mind.
It was a good thing that Aunt B. packed a new formal dress in her
luggage. It will be put to good use tonight.
At 8 pm sharp, Aunt Beatrice made her entrance into the ship’s
formal dining room. All eyes were on her, as she was escorted
to the Captain’s table by the hostess.
“Good evening, Beatrice. My, you look beautiful tonight.”
“Thank you, Captain. What a lovely complement. I must say, you
look very handsome in your white uniform.”
“Merci, my dear.”
“Oh, are you French?”
“No, I’m Swedish but I speak French when ever I have the
opportunity. You look like a worldly woman.”
“Captain, you don’t know the half of it.”
They both laughed. The Captain proceeded to introduce Aunt Beatrice
to the rest of the guests at the table. Among them was Mr. Majors,
who was keeping a close eye on Aunt B. and the Captain.
She paid Michael Majors no mind and continued to talk with
the Captain throughout dinner.
Aunt Beatrice drank French wine during dinner. First she sipped on a Chardonnay
and then switch to a Cabernet Sauvignon which made her glowing.
During dessert, Aunt Beatrice slipped her cabin key
to the captain, under the table, of course.
He accepted the key and squeezed her hand and smiled at her.
The Captain stood up from the table and asked to be excused,
he had duties to attend to. The guests accepted his departure from the table.
Michael Majors asked Aunt B. to join him for an after dinner cocktail in the ship’s
bar, but Aunt B. declined.
She was off to her cabin carrying a bottle of French Champagne,
let the SEDUCTION begin.
